StayCrypto sends customer payments straight to a wallet address you enter in the settings. A hardware wallet keeps the private key for that address offline, so a hacked website or a stolen password cannot move the money. This page lists six hardware wallets, what each maker says about the networks StayCrypto uses, and where to buy them.

Disclosure. Buy links on this page may be referral links. If you buy through one, StayCrypto may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The descriptions below come from each maker’s own website, checked in October 2026. They are not financial advice, and wallet lists change, so check the maker’s current list before you buy.

What your wallet has to support

StayCrypto accepts USDT and USDC on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Polygon, and USDT on Tron. The three EVM networks share one address format, so one address from your wallet works on all three. Tron needs its own address. You only need the networks you switch on, but a wallet that cannot create a Tron address cannot receive on Tron.

LedgerIts USDT page shows USDT on Ethereum, Tron and Polygon in the Ledger Wallet app. For BNB Chain, check the current list for your model.Ledger says its lists change over time.Buy Ledger
TrezorTron and TRC-20 tokens work in Trezor Suite on the Safe 7, Safe 5, Safe 3 and Model T, but not on the Model One. USDT on Ethereum is supported. For BNB Chain and Polygon, check the current list.A USDT transfer on Tron needs some TRX for fees.Buy Trezor
SafePal S1SafePal says the S1 supports 200+ blockchains and all their tokens. Its page shows Tron, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain and Polygon, and its guides cover ERC-20, BEP-20 and TRC-20 tokens. Check the in-app asset list for your exact token. The S1 page lists QR code as its connection method, and the shop page says it talks to the SafePal app through encrypted QR codes.Buy SafePal S1
TangemTangem says it supports TRC-20 on Tron, BEP-20 on BNB Smart Chain, ERC-20 on Ethereum and USDT on Polygon.A card that works over NFC with a phone.Tangem
BitBox02The BitBoxApp manages Ethereum and a selection of ERC-20 tokens. BNB Smart Chain and Polygon work through an external wallet such as Rabby. Tron is not listed. Not suitable if you want a Tron address. The maker says backups go to a microSD card and the firmware is open source.BitBox02
ELLIPAL TitanThe stablecoin page names Ethereum, Tron, Polygon, Solana and BNB Smart Chain.Signs transactions by QR code, with no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB data or NFC, according to the maker.ELLIPAL Titan

How to choose

  • Need Tron? Start there. It is the network that rules wallets out fastest: the BitBox02 does not list it, and the Trezor Model One does not support it.
  • Want QR-code signing? ELLIPAL describes the Titan as having no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB data or NFC. SafePal lists QR code as the S1 connection method.
  • Care about open firmware? Trezor and BitBox describe their firmware as open source. Read each maker’s own page.
  • Price and models change. Look at the maker’s shop on the day you buy, and check that the model you pick is the one that supports your networks.

Buy it safely

  • Buy only from the maker’s own website, never from a reseller, a marketplace or a second-hand listing. In October 2026 Ledger confirmed that a device sold through a reseller in Southeast Asia contained a hardware implant that did not come from Ledger. Ledger says its own systems and direct sales were not affected, and the story was still developing when we checked, so read Ledger’s support site for the latest. Type the maker’s address into your browser yourself: ledger.com, trezor.io, safepal.com, tangem.com, bitbox.swiss, ellipal.com.
  • Never type your recovery phrase into a website, an app or a message. Real support never asks for it.
  • Write the recovery phrase on paper. Do not photograph it or keep it in a cloud note.
  • Use an address only for store payments. StayCrypto matches payments to orders by amount, so unrelated transfers to the same address cause confusion.
  • Send a small test payment before you take real orders.

More habits for the wallet itself and for your store admin are in how to keep a store wallet safe.

Using the wallet with StayCrypto

  1. Create an account for each network you want in the wallet’s app, and copy the public address.
  2. Open WooCommerce, then Settings, Payments, StayCrypto, and paste one address per network. The same address works for Ethereum, BNB Chain and Polygon. Tron needs its own.
  3. Place a small test order and pay it from another wallet.

StayCrypto only ever asks for public addresses. The private key stays on the device. More in the documentation.

FAQ

Do I need a hardware wallet to use StayCrypto?

No. Any wallet that can create an address on the network works. A hardware wallet is recommended because the private key stays offline, so a compromised website cannot move your money.

Can I use an exchange deposit address?

It is not recommended. An exchange address belongs to the exchange, and payments to it are matched to the exchange’s own accounts. Use a wallet you control.

Which wallet works with all four networks?

Check each maker’s current list for the networks you plan to use. In the pages we checked in October 2026, Tron is the one to look at first: the BitBox02 does not list it, and the Trezor Model One does not support it.

Are the buy links affiliate links?

They may be. If you buy through a referral link, StayCrypto may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The plugin itself is free either way.
