Is StayCrypto really free?
Yes. It's open source under the GPL license, with no subscription and no per-payment fee. You can install it on any number of WooCommerce stores.
Who controls the funds?
You do. Payments go directly from the customer's wallet to yours — StayCrypto never takes custody of the money and never holds your private keys.
Is KYC required?
No. There's no identity verification built into the plugin — it just reads the blockchain and updates your WooCommerce order.
Where are private keys stored?
They aren't. You only ever enter public wallet addresses in the plugin settings — private keys stay in your own wallet, wherever you keep it.
What happens if a customer sends the wrong amount?
The plugin checks the incoming amount against what's expected for that order. If it doesn't match, the order isn't marked paid automatically — you'll see the mismatch on the order and can resolve it manually.
How does StayCrypto match a payment to an order?
The receiving wallet address is the same for every order, but each order is assigned its own unique payment amount, down to the smallest unit. That unique amount is what ties an incoming transaction to a specific order.
Can I use multiple wallets?
Yes — you set one receiving address per supported network, so you can route each network's payments to a different wallet if you want.
Which networks and coins are supported?
Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Polygon for USDT and USDC; TRON for USDT.
