StayCrypto exists because we think merchants should be able to accept payments without handing their data, or their customers' data, to a middleman. This site is run the same way: we collect as little as possible, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

What this site collects

Contact form. If you write to us, we receive the email address and message you typed. The submission is delivered to our inbox (and, as a notification, to our own Telegram bot). We use it for one thing: replying to you. It is not added to any mailing list.

Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to see aggregate, anonymous usage: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from. Google sets cookies for this. We see statistics, not identities.

Server logs. Like almost every web server, our hosting keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, requested page) for a limited time, for security and debugging.

What this site does not collect

There are no user accounts, no passwords, no payment processing, and no identity verification anywhere on this site. We never ask for wallet private keys or seed phrases, not on the site, not by email, not on Telegram. Anyone who does ask for them while claiming to be StayCrypto is not us.

The StayCrypto plugin and your data

The plugin runs entirely on your own server, inside your own WordPress install. It sends nothing to staycrypto.money: no telemetry, no usage statistics, no store data. The only things it talks to are the public blockchain RPC endpoints it needs to read payments, exchange-rate services if your store is not priced in US dollars (open.er-api.com, with api.frankfurter.app as a fallback), and, if you enable notifications, your own Telegram bot. None of these requests carry order or buyer data.

The only wallet information the plugin ever stores is the public receiving addresses you enter in its settings. Public addresses are, by design, safe to share: they let people send funds to you, nothing else. Private keys are never entered into the plugin and never leave your wallet.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies of its own. The only cookies come from Google Analytics (see above). If you block them with your browser or an ad blocker, the site keeps working exactly the same.

Third-party services

Google Analytics (usage statistics, see above) and Telegram (only if you choose to message us there; Telegram's own privacy policy applies to that conversation). That's the whole list.

How long we keep things, and your rights

Contact-form correspondence stays in our inbox until it's no longer needed for the conversation. If you want the messages you sent us deleted, ask through the same form or on Telegram, and we'll delete them and confirm.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles data changes, this page changes with it, along with the date at the top. We don't change it silently.
